Hippocampus occurs as genus of fish known as Seahorses (family Syngnathidae). It is witnessed within moderate & tropical waters all across the world.

Seahorses home in size from either Xvi millimetre (a recently found Hippocampus denise [http://www.projectseahorse.org/denise.html]) to 35 cm.
